Lendonwood Gardens is a private, nonprofit corporation. The purpose of the gardens is to preserve and display unusual and rare plants and to provide horticulture research so that these plants may be used on a routine basis in home landscaping.

You can help with these projects by joining Friends of Lendonwood, composed of two groups. One group includes people who volunteer their time and skills and another group supports the garden with financial contributions and fund raising. In addition to working in the garden, volunteers may receive instructions on new plant materials and be taught successful methods when working with unusual plants as well as using their gardening skills. Financial contributions will be used to pay for materials such as flowers, seeds and fertilizer and for labor and maintenance in the garden.

Friends of Lendonwood will be asked to join the organization each year.

Members of each group are entitled to access to the garden and will be invited to attend special events periodically.

Lendonwood Gardens depends on your support for its preservation and maintenance.

Platinum, $5,000 & up: Lifetime membership with all other privileges as listed below.

Gold, $2,500 to $4,999: Unlimited visits to the Garden members and guests. Invitation to special events and participation in educational programs. A sponsor will be recognized in all printed material for the Garden and given special recognition by the Board.

Silver, $1,000 to $2,499: Same as Gold.

Sponsor, $250 to $999: Same as Gold and Silver.

Friend, $150 to $249: Includes unlimited Garden visits for member, family members and guests during the year of membership. Invitation to special events and participation in educational programs.

Family, $50 to $149: Includes free entry to Gardens for member and family members for the membership year.

Individual, $25: Entitles members free entry to Garden during membership year.
